Deborah Murphy

I’m Deborah Murphy, a wife, mother, and grandmother.

33 years ago we emigrated from Ireland to Canada, The first thing we did on arrival in Alberta, was to take a  trip to the Rocky Mountains, coming down Cochrane hill I saw Cochrane for the first time and said:” I could live there”.   22 years ago we finally moved to Cochrane, we loved the sense of community and small-town living. Although Cochrane has grown at a rapid clip, the core of its small-town charm remains. It still has a sense of close neighbourly community. A jewel at the foot of the Rockies.

In Ireland, I worked in a hospital which treated children ages 3 to 16 suffering from mental health issues, like anorexia and bulimia. I trained in Fitness and Nutrition and went on to be one of the top diet advisors in Ireland for a National Nutritional Company. This I was able to do from my home and still be with our children.  Arriving in Canada, I continued to stay at home with my children. Children are a blessing from the Lord.

While living in Calgary, I attended bible school. I taught Sunday school for a few years.

Over the years I started and operated an advertisement business and cleaning company.

For the past few years, I have enjoyed a quieter life, enjoying daily walks along the banks of the Bow River and pursuing a more spiritual journey. My faith in my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ is my joy and strength in these  trying times.

I have been busy over the last few years, standing  to keep our freedom. I have lost friends and family for speaking up about my insights to what is truly going on in our world. But I have made many new amazing freedom loving ,Charter keeper friends, and I trust that in time restoration of family and friends will occur. What the enemy means for harm the Lord turns around for good.

Encourage yourself in the Lord.

Jeremiah 29: 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a hope and a future.
